The Legacy of Amelia Aldean at Magnetic Theatre

The Jones sisters are excited. Laurie’s play, The Legacy of Amelia Aldean, will be performed at The Magnetic Theatre in Asheville, directed by none other than Katie Jones.

This run at Magnetic Theatre is a world premiere event! Wishbone plans to also have a performance of The Legacy of Amelia Aldean in 2020, building off of the excitement of this North Carolina run. The play is about a one-note-wonder novelist, who is in the throes of a long dry spell, moves into the house of dead writer Amelia Aldean in the hopes of summoning her ghost to “invade his life,” desperate to find the story that will turn his life around.

Of course, life rarely gives you exactly what you ask for. Watch James as he navigates the house and life of the dead writer, Amelia. And go support these Wishbone sisters, Katie and Laurie! Plus, this cast and design team is extremely talented!
