CELEBRATING A DECADE OF WISHBONE THEATRE COLLECTIVE

A STORY IN 10 ACTS.

Prologue:

In 2009, Katie Jones huddled a group of actors and theatre creators into her small, Chicago apartment and asked us to start a theatre company. The world was a very uncertain place at that time and yet, in the little living room off the Southport CTA stop, in the midst of a brutally cold, midwestern winter, we got to work.

At that time, there was no way to foresee the future we would create together. There have been so many joys and challenges with running our own theatre company. We have learned by doing and have created such a supportive group of artists who have helped and continue to help each other grow in wonderful and inspiring ways. Wishbone may have evolved and changed over the years, but we stay true to the mission we agreed upon during that very first meeting: no matter the outcome, we seek the journey. We are so proud of, and thankful for our journey and look forward to where it takes us next.

Indulge us as we go back in time! Over the next ten days we will be reflecting on the past 10 years of Wishbone as we look forward to another 10!
