Winter. Wishbone had the honor of connecting with fellow Clemson University alum, Kendall Sherwood and, through a grant from Northwestern University, producing her play, a beautiful drama entitled Devil May Care while Kendall made edits and adjusted the script. Devil May Care featured Denise T Smolarek and John Mark Sawyer.

Now, Kendall is a TV writer most known for Major Crimes and Hawaii Five-0 and we can’t wait for her to let Wishbone produce another play!

Spring. 2012 turned out to be the year of world-premieres as Wishbone also produced a fun and quirky film noir style play, Incendiary by Adam Szymkowicz. Centering on the antics of a pyromaniac fire-chief, Incendiary featured Laurie Jones, Paul Vonasek, Aaron Weiner, Sara Kaplan, John Mark Sawyer, Jazzma Pryor, Erin Lovelace, Joe Dusek, Brandon Little, and Pete Giovagnoli.

If you buy Incendiary, you’ll see the Wishbone cast listed in the cover….and our production photo on the cover! Also, we spelled Pete Giovagnoli name incorrectly in the program and therefore, it’s incorrect in the playbill and we are still sorry. We love you, Pete.

Fall. For the second year in a row, Wishbone brought an ensemble devised show to the Chi Fringe. En El Corazon  For the 2012 Chicago Fringe Festival, Wishbone produced En El Corazon, and proceeds went to a charity working with displaced families.
